Project Overview
This proposal brings five single-family lots along Dewdney Trunk Road together to create a six-storey residential development just east of the Maple Ridge Town Centre. There will be 178 homes, primarily two- and three-bedroom units for families, arranged around a central courtyard.
The courtyard is the heart of the project, providing daylight to interior-facing homes and creating a quiet communal space for residents. Amenities include a ground-floor gym with street views, a multipurpose room opening onto the courtyard for gatherings, and a south-facing rooftop deck offering lounge areas, barbecues, and garden plots.
Architecturally, the building is articulated through a series of white frames that scale down toward the lane, paired with warm wood soffits and generous balconies. These elements break down the overall massing, bring rhythm and texture to the façades, and contribute to a more connected and human-scaled streetscape along Dewdney Trunk Road. Along the new south lane, ground-oriented units have a townhouse scale to transition comfortably to the neighbouring single-family houses.
