PEACE ARCH BORDER CROSSING

Situated at Western Canada’s busiest land border crossing, the new border facility acts as a primary gateway to Canada. The facilities complicated security program is arranged to allow for transparency and public inclusion into the building while maintaining the requirements for the various levels of security.

LEED Gold Certified, the facility employs a number of innovative sustainable systems including: an extensive photovoltaic array incorporated into the project’s primary inspection canopy and a grand naturally ventilating public atrium.
